The Kansas House early Saturday morning narrowly passed a bill authorizing sports wagering, moving Kansas closer to becoming the 34th state where sports betting is legal.
The House voted 63-49 to approve the bill with the minimum number of votes needed to pass after surviving criticism that it didn't levy a big enough tax on sports wagering and would contribute to gambling . . .
