The Kansas Senate on Thursday narrowly approved legislation allowing around-the-clock alcohol sales during the World Cup tournament that will be played this summer in Kansas City.
The Senate voted 21-19 for a bill allowing alcohol sales 23 hours a day from 6 a.m. and to 5 a.m.
The bill, which goes to the House, would apply to bars and restaurants and as well as liquor stores and grocery stories.
The bill would allow 23-hour alcohol sales . . .
