A couple familiar names who have come up short for judgeships in the last couple years are among a group of finalists who have been recommended to the governor for a seat on the Kansas Court of Appeals.
A special screening panel created by the governor has recommended Salina lawyer and federal judicial law clerk Angela Coble, Fairway lawyer Russell Keller and Lawrence attorney Jacy J. Hurst for an open seat on the appeals court.
