Retired businessman challenges Overland Park Democrat

Retired Overland Park businessman Randy Ross has filed to run in House District 48 against Democratic incumbent Dan Osman.

Ross, formerly a senior vice president for a health care consulting practice, is seeking to succeed where Republican Terry Frederick came up just short twice before.

Ross has been involved in the  Johnson County Republican Party, running unsuccessfully for party chair against winner Maria Holiday.
