Less than 24 hours after polls closed Tuesday, the primary results for seven legislative races still hung in the balance across the state Wednesday.
After the votes were tallied Tuesday, there were six House races and one Senate race that were still potentially up in the air with about 100,000 mail-in ballots that could still come in by the deadline of 5 p.m. Friday.
The races also could hinge on the counting of provisional ballots that were cast at polling locations on Tuesday.
