Proctor runs into questions about wage-and-hour violations at restaurants

Republican secretary of state candidate Pat Proctor is running into questions about wage-and-hour violations found at two of his restaurants back in 2016.

The issue surfaced this week in an interview Proctor gave to Manhattan radio personality Mike Matson, who asked Proctor about Labor Department complaints that said two of his restaurants owed a little more than $93,000 in minimum wage and overtime back pay.

Proctor told Matson he ultimately paid "significantly" less than that amount. He told Matson that he paid in the range of $68,000 or $78,000, but said in an interview he . . .
