A legal battle over whether Kansas could cut Planned Parenthood off from Medicaid funding will end up costing the state almost a half-million dollars in legal fees.
The state agreed to pay the lawyers for Planned Parenthood $464,000 to cover the cost of challenging the state's decision in 2016 to terminate Medicaid funding for the clinic.
