The flyer for Steve Hohe has a distinct conservative appeal.

If he's elected to Congress in the 3rd Congressional District, the Libertarian wants to downsize the federal government, support a flat tax and stop illegal immigration.

In short, the flyer says he wants "lower taxes and less government."

The flyer presents Hohe as an ideal alternative to Republican Amanda Adkins.

But a closer look reveals the flyer is financed by the Voter Protection Project, a group with Democratic leanings headquartered in Seattle.
