The race for state treasurer is heating up as the Democratic incumbent on Thursday called out his Republican challenger for fumbling the release of a new ad that inaccurately portrayed his record.
Democratic state Treasurer Lynn Rogers said the new ad not only initially got his record wrong before it was taken offline, but when it was made public again Thursday it criticized him for a vote they both agreed on when they were in the Legislature.
