Now, it's a newly formed political action committee whose organizers said it was created to protect abortion rights.
No matter where he turns these days, Democratic state Rep. Vic Miller of Topeka is running into opposition from within his own party in a race for the Kansas Senate.
Miller is in a three-way primary to represent a new Democratic-leaning district that stretches from Topeka to Lawrence.
The opposition he's drawn from the governor is well known.
