Former Kansas Gov. Jeff Colyer on Thursday came out in support of former Republican Attorney General Derek Schmidt in the race for the 2nd Congressional District seat.
“Derek Schmidt and I have been in the trenches together for years fighting for our conservative values and Kansas common sense,” Colyer said in a statement.
“It's no surprise President Trump has endorsed Derek, who will fight alongside him every day to secure our border and make America great again," he said.
Colyer is the latest endorsement for Schmidt in the race for the GOP nomination against his major rivals, Jeff Kahrs . . .
