The race for Kansas governor is about to take a new turn with a new Republican-affiliated political action committee entering the race Thursday with a new ad buy.
The Wheat State PAC for Government Accountability, formed Sept. 27, laid down a $134,000 ad buy in Kansas City and Wichita, according to the national ad tracking firm AdImpact.
So far, about $132,000 has been booked on network television in Wichita and about $2,800 on cable in Kansas City, although those amounts are expected to grow.
