UPDATED: Democratic lawmaker who voted to override Kelly draws primary challenger

Democratic state Rep. Marvin Robinson, who has frequently gotten sideways with his own caucus for frequently voting to override Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly, has drawn a primary challenger.

Wanda Brownlee Paige, who serves as an at-large representative on the Kansas City, Kansas, School Board, has filed to run against Robinson later this year for the House District 35 seat in Kansas City.

Neither Paige nor Robinson could be reached for comment Thursday morning.
