The Republican Governors Association launched a new campaign Thursday, renewing an assault on Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly for vetoing a bill banning transgender athletes from competing in female sports.
The new ad features Riley Gaines, a former collegiate swimmer who has made national headlines for speaking out against transgender swimmer Lia Thomas for having an unfair biological advantage because she was born a male.
