National Democrats are making another run at upending the Republican supermajority in the Kansas House as it launched a $50 million initiative to flip more than 650 state legislative seats nationally.
The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee is targeting the Kansas House, where Republicans have held a supermajority since 2011.
Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee President Heather Williams said 2026 presented a "once-in-a-generation" opportunity to "transform state legislative power, including making inroads in Kansas."
