Democratic lawmakers Vic Miller and Jim Gartner are eying the state Senate seat that is coming open with Democrat Laura Kelly's election as governor last week.
In interviews over the weekend, Miller and Gartner confirmed they were weighing a run for the Senate District 18 seat, which covers parts of Shawnee, Wabaunsee and Pottawatomie counties.
"I'm taking a look at it," Miller said. "It is under consideration."
Miller, who now represents House District 58, said he is looking at who else might be running for the seat . . .
