The appointments to the new committee that's charged with making recommendations for a new school finance formula are now complete.
Leading lawmakers and the Kansas State Board of Education have completed making their appointments to the task force, which is required to make recommendations about a new school finance formula to the governor and the Legislature before Jan. 11, 2027.
Here are the appointments made to the 11-member task force, which is expected to be watched closely as a new school finance formula is crafted:
