Major gubernatorial candidates of all stripes - Republican, Democrat and independent - met for the first time together Monday night at a forum sponsored by the Kansas Chamber of Commerce.
Six of the major candidates - Democrats Laura Kelly and Josh Svaty, Republicans Jeff Colyer, Kris Kobach and Ken Selzer plus independent Greg Orman - converged at the Oread Hotel in Lawrence where they met state business leaders.
They talked about how they'd grow the state. They talked about taxes. They talked about a constitutional amendment on schools.
