Late Sunday, the online political site Axios revealed nearly a hundred of documents used to vet candidates for the Trump administration.
Among those was a vetting document for former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who was a candidate for Homeland Security secretary.
The document looks at everything from work experience and political affiliation to political vulnerabilities.
We won’t get into characterizing the list, which dates back to his 2004 campaign against former Congressman Dennis Moore. We just put it out there for your review.
For his part, Kobach – who is considering a run for the U.S. Senate – did not comment on the document.
