Attorney General Kris Kobach on Tuesday morning announced that he filed a lawsuit against the creator of the extraordinarily popular Snapchat social media platform, accusing the company of "deceptive and unconscionable acts" harmful to teens.
The lawsuit, similar to litigation filed earlier this year in Utah and Florida, alleges that Snap Inc. falsely represents its Snapchat platform as safe for children, when it "is filled with content that is anything but safe."
