Gov. Laura Kelly has been quietly wooing support of the business community as she campaigns across the state for Medicaid expansion.
The governor has been very open about the many roundtable discussions she's held throughout the state as she steps up pressure on Republican leaders who have bottled up efforts to expand federal health care coverage for the less affluent.
Meanwhile, the governor along with Lt. Gov. David Toland have been trying to win support from businesses that don't typically appear before the health committees in the Legislature but with employees who stand to benefit from expanded health . . .
