Republican state Rep. Steven Johnson lengthened his lead in the GOP primary for state treasurer with only three counties left to certify their results.
As of 5 p.m., Johnson led state Sen. Caryn Tyson by 452 votes after leading by 324 at the close of business Friday.
With three counties left to certify their results, Johnson led Tyson 219,363 to 218,911.
There are still 836 provisional ballots yet to be reviewed. The last three counties left are Cherokee, Ellsworth and Riley.
