(Updated to note survey sample size)
The Johnson County Bar Association this week released the results of its evaluations of the appeals court judges who are up for retention during this fall's general election.
The bar association emailed surveys to 3,818 lawyers with registered offices in Johnson County and 504 surveys were returned.
This quantity was above the number needed to achieve a 95% confidence level with a 5% margin of error.
The surveys rated all 14 appeals courts judges, including the seven who are up for retention in November.
