The dust is now well settled on whether the Kansas Constitution should protect a woman's right to an abortion.

Nearly 60% of voters opposed a constitutional amendment that would have explicitly removed the right to an abortion from the state constitution.

But what still is not settled is Attorney General Derek Schmidt's effort to get the Kansas Supreme Court to revisit the landmark case that found the right to an abortion was embedded in the state constitution.
