A ticket broker may not even be able to help you if you want to attend Gov.-elect Laura Kelly's inaugural ball.
Tickets for the event sold out in about a week after going on sale in mid-December.
About 1,900 are expected at the event, scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Kansas Expocentre. The Kelly transition team reports a waiting list of about 150 for tickets.
After selling out, the inaugural committee secured a connecting space in Landon Arena to accommodate additional tables and seating. That space is also sold out.
