A bill with a new version of a task force to study the state’s future transportation needs has been introduced in the Kansas House.
The new bill, similar to a proposal in the Senate, sets the stage for developing a new transportation program after the current 10-year, $8 billion plan ends. A committee hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
The bill calls for the creation of a 23-person committee, including Kansas residents who must be affiliated with any one of an array of industries, including contractors, construction . . .
