Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach is accusing a nonprofit group that claims to support transgender youth of soliciting money that's been used for personal expenses, including a traffic ticket.
The attorney general filed a lawsuit against Mary Catherine Brace and the nonprofit group Trans Heartland seeking to stop them from raising money after receiving a complaint that they violated the state's Charitable Organizations and Solicitations Act.
