Gov. Laura Kelly on Tuesday morning withdrew her nomination to the Kansas Court of Appeals after a series of angry social media posts attacking conservative political leaders surfaced.

Kelly announced she was pulling District Judge Jeffry Jack's name for consideration after it was revealed that his Twitter account - sprinkled with profanity - contained an array of posts denouncing the president and other conservatives.
