Gov. Laura Kelly on Tuesday named a new communications director to replace Lauren Fitzgerald, who is moving over to the governor's reelection committee.
Kelly named Brianna Johnson, who is moving the governor's office after working as a manager at Evergreen Strategy Group, a boutique policy communications firm she joined in 2018.
Evergreen's clients include Hillary Rodham Clinton, Levi Strauss & Co., Patagonia, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, among others.
