The education arm of Kansans for Life is running a new ad portraying the state as a destination for abortions.
It's the first abortion ad to hit the air waves ahead of the Aug. 2 primary in which Kansas voters will decide whether abortion should be a right protected by the state constitution.
The ad is paid for by the Kansans for Life Educational Trust, a 501(c)(3) social welfare group that is part of the overall KFL organization.
The advertising marketing firm AdImpact reports that KFL's educational arm has spent about $115,000 in broadcast television . . .
