With lawmakers set to consider another tax bill, Gov. Laura Kelly on Thursday afternoon called for a special commission to examine the state tax code, emphasizing it's an important step before making any changes to the law.
"Like any smart business, state government should consider fundamental questions before pursuing major tax changes," Kelly said in a statement issued Thursday afternoon.
