U.S. Senate candidate Barbara Bollier continued to solidify her Democratic base with the endorsement of Gov. Laura Kelly on Tuesday.
Kelly came out in support of Bollier, saying the state senator has been a partner in rolling back the policies of former Republican Gov. Sam Brownback's administration and worked to expand access to health care.
Bollier "shares my commonsense Kansas values and has a proven track record of standing up for our families," Kelly said in a statement.
"She is exactly the principled, independent voice of reason Kansas needs representing them in Washington, D.C."
