Prosecutors have charged a Florida man for fraudulently collecting signatures in a petition drive to get the No Labels movement qualified as a political party in Kansas.

The attorney general's office announced Monday that George Andrews, 30, of Dade City, Florida, was arrested Feb. 10 for allegedly forging signatures on a No Labels petition.

“The arrested individual was part of a scheme to defraud Kansas voters by placing their forged signatures on petitions," Attorney General Kris Kobach said.
