Evergy withdraws motion seeking details about industrial group

Evergy on Wednesday withdrew a motion asking state regulators to force a coalition of big power users to provide information about its organizational structure and membership.

The utility company filed a statement with the Kansas Corporation Commission saying that its dispute with the Kansas Industrial Consumers Group has been resolved.

Last week, Evergy filed a motion with the KCC asking it to force the industrial group to respond to the utility’s discovery requests.
