The interim executive director of the state ethics commission stepped down last Friday, leaving the agency without two of its top administrators to watch over campaign and ethics enforcement.
Kaitlyn Bull-Stewart is leaving the agency to take a job with the securities division at the Kansas Department of Insurance starting Monday.
Her departure comes less than two months after Mark Skoglund announced he was leaving as executive director. He's now a fiscal analyst for the Board of Indigent Defense Services.
