The volume of the Medicaid expansion debate turned up a notch Thursday when Senate Minority Leader Anthony Hensley said he would introduce the GOP's Medicaid expansion bill if it's not filed by its architect.

Hensley said he would take the unusual step of prefiling a bill drawn up by Senate Majority Leader Jim Denning in order to force a full fiscal analysis of the legislation. The bill is now a draft, complicating efforts to get a full assessment of the fiscal implications of the legislation.
