Harry Schwarz, the veterans service officer for the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Leavenworth, officially launched his campaign for the Kansas House on Wednesday against Republican incumbent Pat Proctor.
Schwarz, a Democrat, filed to run for the House District 41 seat against Proctor, who is running for a second term representing a swath of Leavenworth County.
"Working families, veteran families, and fixed-income seniors take pride in calling Leavenworth home, and I think it's time they get better representation in Topeka," Schwarz said in announcing his campaign.
"The insiders have let us down with their antics, and our school . . .
