Criticism was building Sunday over an event held by the Johnson County Republican Party that featured 1970s rocker Ted Nugent and had a booth where guests pummeled a mannequin figure of President Joe Biden.

Videos and pictures of the Biden replica started circulating on social media late Saturday and continued into Sunday with Republicans and Democrats alike criticizing the activity, which was part of larger county GOP event held at the Overland Park Convention Center.
