Republican state Rep. Susan Concannon of Beloit said Friday afternoon that she will not seek reelection after six terms in the House.
Concannon, who withdrew her filing on Friday but will serve out her term, has focused work in the Legislature on child welfare, health issues and rural Kansas.
First elected in 2012, Concannon has chaired a number of committees, including Child Welfare and Foster Care as well as Children and Seniors.
