Kansas lawmakers were pulling hard late Friday night for their colleague, state Rep. Les Mason, who suffered a brain aneurysm earlier in the day.
Multiple lawmakers started receiving reports late Friday afternoon that the McPherson lawmaker had fallen ill - possibly from a stroke - and had been rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Later Friday night, some lawmakers said they had been told it was a brain aneurysm.
