Business workforce satisfaction reaches new 20-year low, poll shows

Business satisfaction with the Kansas workforce has dipped to its lowest point in 20 years, with executives expressing concern about finding employees with energy to work and difficulty with finding quality workers, a new poll shows.

The Kansas Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday released its annual poll of 300 business leaders, which found that just 43% were satisfied with the workforce.

It was the lowest percentage since 2004 and has been steadily declining since 2010 when 75% of business executives said . . .
