A House panel on Monday removed a budget proposal blocking investigations of physicians who write off-label prescriptions with adverse outcomes for their patients.
The House Appropriations Committee withdrew an amendment that a budget subcommittee added last week to the Board of Healing Arts' proposed budget for 2022 and 2023.
The amendment would have stopped the Board of Healing Arts from using any money to carry out investigations of physicians . . .
