We strive to give you as much political news as we can whether it’s the governor’s race, statehouse races or the congressional races. Now, we’re going to add judicial politics to the mix.
The Johnson County Bar Association has released the results of a survey rating the judges in the 10th Judicial District, which covers Johnson County. We’ll highlight the results for judges up for retention in November but the full report is available here. It does gives some interesting insight about how the judges are viewed by the lawyers.

The Bar Association mailed surveys to 2,231 lawyers with registered offices in Johnson County. Three hundred and three surveys were returned, which the Bar Association said was sufficient to achieve a 95 percent confidence level with a 5 percent margin of error. Now a look at the retention numbers:
