Democratic state Sen. Ethan Corson of Fairway on Wednesday morning announced he had picked Salina Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Renee Duxler as his running mate in the governor's race.
"Americans across our state and our country have been demanding leader with fresh ideas, new energy and a forward looking vision for the future," Corson said at a news conference in Topeka on Wednesday morning.
"I am ready to answer that call and so is my choice for lieutenant governor," he said.
