Kansas Farm Bureau names Newland replacement

The Kansas Farm Bureau's  board of directors on Monday named farmer and stockman Glenn Brunkow to replace Joe Newland as president when he steps down June 1.

Brunkow had been vice president since 2023. He previously served as 1st District Director representing Atchison, Brown, Jefferson, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Shawnee, Leavenworth, Wyandotte and Doniphan counties.

“Serving as president of Kansas Farm Bureau is a tremendous honor, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead this great organization,” Brunkow said in a statement.
