The secretary of state has dissolved the No Labels Party amid accusations there was a "fraudulent" effort to hijack the largely defunct organization.

No Labels Kansas was officially recognized as a political party in January 2024 after its petition was approved by the secretary of state.

The party was an outgrowth of work at a national level to form a third-party presidential ticket — called a “unity ticket” — that could bring together a moderate Republican and Democrat on a presidential ticket.
