A complaint over student government spending on diversity, equity and inclusion programs at Kansas State University has been settled to the satisfaction of legislative leaders.
A top official at Kansas State on Tuesday briefed the State Finance Council on a complaint it received last July about student government providing funds for DEI in conflict with a state law enacted last year. He said those funds are no longer being disbursed.
