The Kansas Legislature on Monday approved a $50 million plan to give rebates to businesses that were ordered closed or were forced to limit service during the pandemic.
The Senate passed the bill unanimously and the House passed the legislation on a 120-1 vote.
There was money already contained in the state budget to cover the cost of the bill. Funding will come from the state's share of federal COVID-19 relief money . . .
