Wildlife secretary proposes giving commissioners more input on agency agenda

Acting Wildlife Secretary Chris Kennedy is proposing a policy where commissioners may request for items to be placed on the commission's agenda even as lawmakers consider a bill expanding the commission's authority.

Kennedy, whose nomination to lead the agency has run into turmoil, announced his intentions in a memo to the wildlife commission last week as lawmakers consider a bill empowering commissioner to propose rules and regulations.
