The race for Kansas secretary of state is taking on a national flavor with former Johnson County Commissioner Mike Brown becoming the latest candidate across the country to campaign on "election integrity" - an issue buoyed by former President Donald Trump.
There's nothing new about running clean elections as a campaign issue, but Brown and a handful of other candidates for secretary of state nationally are riding the former president's unsubstantiated claims about a "rigged election" to energize supporters.
